Subsistence - without receipts

If you incur any meal costs while working at a temporary workplace, you are entitled to claim up to £10 per day if you work up to ten hours a day excluding travelling time and breaks.

If you work more than 10 hours in any given day, excluding travelling time and breaks, you may claim up to £15 per day for meal costs.

If you stay overnight in a hotel you can claim up to £5 for breakfast, £8 for lunch and £12 for your evening meal.
